Common questions for those looking to book The Thatch Pub.

How much does it cost to rent The Thatch?

The pricing includes basic delivery.

 

What is the cancellation policy?

Payment is made when you book your reservation.  Cancellations made 7 days prior to your event will receive a full refund.  Cancellations made within 3 to 6 days prior to your reservation will be charged a $500 deposit fee.  If you cancel within 48 hours of your reservation you will not receive a refund.

 

How long is the rental period?

The rental period is approximately 24 hours.  We will arrange a time that is convenient for you to drop off the pub typically late morning/early afternoon.  We will then return approximately the same time the next day to collect the pub.  If you would like to reserve The Thatch for more than 24 hours please contact us and we will give you a quote.

 

What is included with The Thatch?

No detail is spared!  The Thatch comes with a keg chiller and gas for your taps.  It has a smart TV and a speaker system which is Bluetooth enabled. Air conditioning and heating are available.  The pub also has a small electric fireplace.  There is seating for up to 8 in the corner snug; 4 short stools and 2 stools at the bar.  A generator is used to power The Thatch.

 

What is NOT included with The Thatch?

Beer, wine and alcohol are NOT provided with the pub.  There is No Smoking in the pub (FYI, Ireland was the first country to ban smoking in bars). Glassware and ice are NOT provided.  Depending on the size of the kegs you purchase there maybe room to store beer bottles, wine etc. in the kegerator.

A bartender is not included as well but we can give you the name of a company who can provide one for you if need be.

 

What size kegs should I purchase?

Our kegerator can accommodate 2 half barrel kegs or 2 quarter kegs (or a combination of the two).  We will provide everything you need to pull the perfect pint: gas, taps and connections. Please purchase cold kegs the day of the event.

 

Where can I park The Thatch?

You have to have a level driveway or parking pad that will accommodate the pub. The driveway length minimum is 20ft.  The pub cannot be placed in the street or on public property.  The pub will be towed by truck to your location.  If you have any questions about the logistics of parking the pub or space required please give us a call or shoot us an email.

 

How big is The Thatch?

The Thatch is built on a trailer which measures 16 ft by 8 ft.  The ceiling height is 8 feet within the pub.  There are 3 steps with side rails used to enter the pub.

 

What is the delivery range?

Free delivery within 30 miles of Staten Island.  The pub is housed on Staten Island and as you are aware getting on and off of the island in any direction can be tricky.  We need to take into consideration tolls, mileage and under passes.  This can make a 30 mile trip seem like a two hour journey!  Distances beyond 30 miles will require a conversation.  Please contact us by phone or via our contact page.
